Interview with Cécile Barry, an expert on women's entrepreneurship

In 2011, she became head of the entrepreneurship committee at CLEF (French Coordination for the European Women’s Lobby) and is an active member of the Laboratoire de l’Égalité. In 2014, she co-founded, with Anne-José Beuzelin, SAS GROUPE AJICE, a brand awareness agency that brings together all areas of communications. She also hosts forums on the development of African entrepreneurship and agreed to answer a few questions for us about entrepreneurship and Nuhanciam!

• Is entrepreneurship a natural fit for you?

Ever since I was a little girl, I told myself I was going to become an entrepreneur. In what field? How? I had no idea, but I was going to do it—I was certain of that.

• Which women have inspired you?

My grandmother, who passed away today, had lived many lives and was always a tenacious entrepreneur.

• How did you discover Nuhanciam?

I first met Muriel, the co-founder—a beautiful, strong-willed woman firmly rooted in her time, and Nuhanciam truly reflects her character.
