The 4L Trophy and NUHANCIAM in 4 Questions
Tell us, Muriel, why did you want to participate?
Actually, I’m not indifferent to the hardships faced by children in certain countries. For me, participating in the 4L-Trophy is a way to do my part for this humanitarian effort—to try to do what I can with the resources I have, but in a way that makes an immediate difference.
What are the benefits of Nuhanciam?
We provided financial support to our team—Maÿlis and Philippine—to help them prepare their magnificent car. And of course, the entire Nuhanciam team will be following and supporting them throughout their journey across France, Spain, and Morocco. We’re supporting a team of two young, determined, and courageous women who are dedicating their time to help children through an adventure that won’t always be easy. When I was approached about the project, I couldn’t help but say yes.
This isn't the first time you've gotten involved with children (pokanel)—why do you think this cause is so important?
In fact, this isn’t the first time Nuhanciam has been involved in helping children. I’m always outraged when I see children in the media who are victims of poverty, war, malnutrition, or illiteracy. So the cause of children is very important to me. Whenever I can get involved—either on my own behalf or on behalf of NUHANCIAM—I do so.
The team is made up of two young women—what message would you like to share with them before the big departure?
I hope Maÿlis and Philippine—thanks to Josy—enjoy this exciting adventure to the fullest! I would have loved to go with them.
